Trinidad Import & Export Company Limited is one of Trinidad and Tobago’s oldest indigenous companies. This company was founded by two German brothers, Ludwig and August Schoener Von Stroben Hardt as a partnership, trading as Schoener and Company. In 1914 it was decided that it would be beneficial to change the partnership to a Limited Liability Company. The Company then became known as Trinidad Import & Export Company Limited.

Since its foundation in 1868, more than 140 years ago, Trinidad Import & Export Company Limited has been a family business. It remains so, with the present Board of Directors who are descendants of the original founders.

Our business includes the import, export and distribution of food, beverages and household products as well as supplying heavy equipment, which is supported by a well stocked of parts center and maintained by an exceptional service department. We also offer Customs Brokerage services.
